About GCCI
Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry
The Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI) stands as one of the most influential and enduring institutions supporting the advancement of trade, commerce and industrial development in Gujarat. Over the decades, the Chamber has remained committed to this legacy, continually adapting to new challenges while upholding its core mission of enabling Gujarat’s business community to thrive.
Today, GCCI brings together a diverse network of more than 7,500 members, including over 200 trade and industry associations as well as prominent chambers within the state. Through this network, the Chamber indirectly represents nearly 2.5 lakh businesses, giving it a broad and deep understanding of the industrial and commercial landscape of Gujarat.
A key focus of the Chamber has always been its active engagement in economic policymaking, facilitated through continuous and meaningful dialogue with government authorities, industry leaders, trade bodies and community stakeholders.
GCCI places strong emphasis on collaborative and holistic policy thinking. It has been instrumental in bringing together diverse viewpoints through intra- and inter-industry discussions, public consultations, expert panels and sector-specific forums. These engagements help address challenges at both micro and macroeconomic levels, from regulatory reforms and infrastructure needs to emerging opportunities in technology, innovation, global trade and sustainable development.
